Roger Spott, BS, DDS, PhD (Hon), CADE (Endodontics) is a well known
Florida Endodontist (root canal therapy). Dr. Spott is a member of the American Association of
Endodontists, the Florida Dental Association, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (FACD), a Fellow of
the Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA), a Fellow of the International College of

Endodontics is a subspecialty of dentistry whose broad purpose is to treat
the diseases of the dental pulp and related structures. Derived from the Greek;
endo - inside and donto - the tooth, Dr. Roger Spott and other Endodontists deal with problems inside the
tooth. This involves careful cleansing of the interior spaces, germicidal
treatment of these spaces and filling and sealing the spaces.
Dr. Spott and other Endodontists have broad advanced training of two years duration after
dental school, and are capable of performing a wide variety of treatment
procedures. While there is a common training background for all trained
Endodontists, each may have his or her own area of greatest interest or
